Board of Registration of Funeral Directors and Embalmers
The Board of Registration of Funeral Directors and Embalmers issues licenses to qualified Embalmers and Funeral Directors. The Board regulates the minimum standards for professional conduct and continued competency and takes disciplinary action against licensees who fail to meet these standards. The Board inspects funeral homes and chapels, and issues a certificate of inspection to crematory authorities.
