If you have an approved Candidate for Licensure Agreement on file with the Board complete the Request to sit for ASWB Clinical Exam form and return it to the Board office.
- When can I take the ASWB clinical social work exam?

You may take the exam when the Board approves your request. You must take and pass the exam before you submit your full application for licensure.
- How do I sign up for the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Exam?

Go to nbcc.org and register for the NCMHC exam. Beginning in June 2008 the exam will be administered via computer at various testing sites throughout the United States.
- When can I take the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Exam?

You may take the exam after your master's or doctoral degree has been granted. You must take and pass the test before you submit an application for licensure.
- How do I sign up for the Marriage and Family Exam?

Complete the Request to sit for the Marriage and Family exam form and return it to the Board office via fax or mail for review.
- When can I take the Marriage and Family exam?

You may take the exam when the Board approves your Request to sit for the Marriage and Family exam. The Board will send you an email with instructions on how to register for the National Marital and Family Therapy Examination. For information regarding exam dates, testing centers, score transfer forms and AMFTRB handbook, visit the Association of Marital and Family Therapy Regulatory Boards website.
- How do I register for the National Pastoral Counselor Examination?

In order to sit for the written Pastoral Psychotherapist Examination, you need to submit a full application for pastoral psychotherapist licensure for the Board to review. Once the Board approves your application you will be scheduled for the exam.
- Do I need a Candidate for Licensure Agreement on file if I am not working on my post-graduate hours in New Hampshire?

No. The Board does not have jurisdiction over the supervision of hours in another state.
