Board of Mental Health Practice Recently Adopted Administrative Rules

We would like to inform you that the Board of Mental Health Practice has
recently adopted administrative rules, which will become effective May 14, 2024.

These rules relate to the following:
Mhp 305.02 - Courses required for Mental Health Counselors
Mhp 307 - Social Worker
Mhp 308 - Social Work Associate

Mhp 309 - Conditional Licensure:

• Clinical social worker.
• School social worker.
• Social worker.
• Social work associate.
• Clinical mental health counselor; and
• Marriage and family therapist

The Office of Professional Licensure and Certification is currently working
on documents related to the new licenses and will update the Board's
webpage when they are available after the Rules are in effect. Please
refer to our webpage for the most up-to-date information as it becomes
available. The rules are posted here.
